Dance to You! at Westchester Medical Center

In September and October 2025, Dance to You! had two special opportunities to perform for the patients of Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York. Our dancers first performed at the Cystic Fibrosis Fall Fest hosted by the Boston Children’s Health Physicians and Westchester Medical Center for pediatric cystic fibrosis patients and their families. We then performed for the patients and families of Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital a few weeks later!

Our performance at the Cystic Fibrosis Fall Fest was Dance to You!’s first outdoor performance, so our dancers, Brooke, Caitlin, Emma, Eva, and Kiara, were able to put together a program of jazz, theater, and K-pop dances that they performed in their sneakers! After the performance, our dancers met several of the patients who shared their love of dance, and even showed-off a few of their dance moves!

Our performance at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital was just as memorable, and our dancers, Caitlin, Elodie, Emma, Lilly, and Kate, loved sharing several ballet and contemporary dances as well as new jazz and theater pieces with the patients. Although many patients couldn’t attend in person, they were able to watch our performance from a live broadcast in their rooms! Our dancers also met a therapy dog named Prince, who was wagging his tail to the beat from the audience! 

We are so grateful to have been able to meet and dance for the pediatric patients of Westchester Medical Center, and we hope to return soon for another performance!
