Dance to You! Returns to the Jewish Home at Rockleigh

In August, Dance to You! returned to the Jewish Home at Rockleigh for our fourth performance! It is always such a pleasure to be back at the Jewish Home and to see so many familiar faces, while also meeting new people and making new memories together! 

Our eight dancers had an amazing time collaborating to reimagine their own dances into duets, trios, and group pieces. They presented a brand new performance program featuring new additions to our repertoire that range from ballet and contemporary to jazz and theatre. 

In addition to our performance, our dancers played Dance to You!’s Dance Genre Bingo with the residents! We distributed custom bingo boards with various dance genres on them, and asked each resident to reach inside of a bag and select a paper with a dance genre on it. After each selection, we shared interesting facts about the genre, and even had some demonstrations by our dancers! They also enjoyed walking through the audience and assisting the residents fill out their boards. It was such a fun and memorable afternoon!

We are so grateful to the Jewish Home for having us back again, and we hope to return very soon for another performance!
